We have a new team member joining the Tangerine family! We are so excited to welcome Nancy, a licensed massage therapist with a certification in manual lymphatic drainage. Her work is therapeutically driven and she is committed to the health and well-being of her clients … and she fits right in at Tangerine Salon & Spa.
To find out more about our newest team member, we sat down with Nancy to talk about what she loves as a massage therapist:
Welcome to the team, Nancy Smith LMT, MLD-C!
Why did you pursue a career in massage therapy?
Nancy: I have a long work history in the health care field. I wanted to be able to closely work with patients and clients, but also maintain a flexible schedule while raising my family.
Why are you excited to be back in the massage therapy room?
N: I enjoyed teaching massage for so many years. I believe that it has made me a better therapist. However, I truly missed working one-on-one with clients and helping them with their needs.
I am so excited to be with Tangerine! From my very first visit to the salon, I could tell it was a very positive environment. I am excited to grow my practice. And as a bonus—I love Aveda products!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
N: I love spending time outdoors. My happy place is spending time on the lake with my family. I’m also a big Nashville Predators fan.
